I know a person with CAH. It was a struggle all through her chilhood to establish the right dose to provide the cortisol her body doesn’t produce. As an adult, the dose is more stable when she stopped growing. However, it’s hard to live a normal life when the body doesn’t produce the right amount of cortisol. Too low levels is life threatening.
